5. Summary of Data Reported and Evaluation

5.1 Animal data

In the only available study, cinnamyl anthranilate increased the incidence of lung tumours in mice following its intraperitoneal injection. These data are insufficient for an evaluation of the carcinogenicity of this compound to be made.

5.2 Human data

No case reports or epidemiological studies were available to the Working Group.
