5. Summary of Data Reported and Evaluation
5.1 Animal data
Dimethoxane is carcinogenic in male rats after its oral
administration, the only species, sex and route tested; it produced
malignant tumours, predominantly in the liver.
5.2 Human data
No case reports or epidemiological studies were available to the
Working Group.
