


The Verity search engine interprets any string of characters separated by spaces as a phrase. It finds all the words in the phrase and all forms of each word.
For example, this query finds documents containing the phrase circumstance of poisoning as well as circumstances of poisoning:

You can still search for phrases containing AND, OR, NOT if you enclose them in double quotation marks. For example, the following query finds documents that contain the phrase health and safety:
