5. Summary of Data Reported and Evaluation
5.1 Animal carcinogenicity data
4-Hydroxyazobenzene was tested in rats by the oral route. An
evaluation of its carcinogenicity was not possible due to the
inadequate duration or inadequacy of reporting of the studies.
5.2 Human carcinogenicity data
No case reports or epidemiological studies were available to the
Working Group.
